Die-Cutting & Blanking
Die-cutting and blanking is the process of cutting a printed sheet of board and paper stock into a desired complex shape with exactness and repeatability. Globe’s high-speed Bobst auto platen die-cut presses have intricate internal waste stripping to eliminate the amount of hand labor needed for the finished product.
Globe also offers high-speed blanking services, which deliver entirely stripped products ready for gluing, windowing, or just packing. Additionally, Globe provides automatic die-cutting for sheets size 12 x 16 up to 40 x 56, stocks from 100# text weight to .080 chipboard, and some plastic sheets.
CAD Design and Die-Making
CAD design and die-making is a cutting-edge technology that allows for greater accuracy and repeatability than traditional methods. With CAD, Globe can convert detailed artwork into die lines quickly and precisely. Our in-house CAD department allows for creating production samples or layouts for client approval before the project goes into total production. This ensures the project is designed to exact specifications with the highest level of quality control.
Foil Stamping & Embossing
Foil stamping and embossing are processes used to create a decorative finish on paper or cardboard materials. Globe offers high-speed heated presses with up to 500 tons of pressure to achieve a variety of specialized textures and shapes as well as combination stamp/emboss areas. We are thrilled to now offer the ability to stamp in register holograms and are one of the few trade finishers offering this service.
